NIKE MERCURIAL SUPERFLY
Working on the launch of the Superfly V, I worked as a CGI artist and provided art direction to visualize a high-octane metaphor: the intersection of Cristiano Ronaldo’s acceleration and Formula 1 engineering.
I was responsible for the integration of the F1 car and the main Nike boot, starting from a 3D scan of an early prototype. Been challanged during the exploded-view sequences, where I directed the timing and lighting of the engine components as they elegantly reconstructed into the Mercurial speed system. My work centered on creating a premium "lighting/speed experience" that showcased the boot’s innovative components through high-end look development and technical modeling.
Key contributions
Role: CGI Artist & Art Direction
Integration of the Formula 1 car and the digital Superfly V boot based on initial 3D scans
Art directed the sequences, managing the complex reconstruction of mechanical and textile parts
Led the lighting and look development to create a high-speed, cinematic atmosphere aligning with the F1 theme
Collaborated on the visual metaphors for speed and acceleration to ensure brand alignment with Nike and CR7
