Coca-Cola Ultimate
I collaborated on multiple shots for Coca‑Cola Creations’ XP+ “Ultimate” films (in partnership with Virtue Worldwide), helping translate a hyper‑cinematic League of Legends world into sensorial teaser content. My primary responsibility was the look development for the limited‑edition can and bottle trapped inside the crystals — making them read as frozen and encapsulated while remaining clearly legible and instantly recognisable as the Ultimate flavour.
I focused on photoreal materials and lighting so the cans/bottles felt suspended in crystalline formations: crafting refractive/anisotropic crystal shaders, frost/condensation layers, subtle subsurface scattering and micro‑facet details so logos and label art stayed readable through complex refraction. I worked closely with the animation and sim artists matching on‑set lighting, tuning render AOVs and mattes, and providing clean passes for compositing.
Key contributions
Role: CGI artist — collaborated across multiple shots; owned look development for the product-in-crystal treatment
Developed crystal and frost shaders, refraction workflows and layered materials to preserve label legibility through complex optics
Tuned condensation, micro‑scratches and etching details to sell the “frozen inside” look without losing brand cues
Implemented Coca‑Cola liquid and can/bottle surface responses (specular, lacquer, decal handling) for ultra‑realistic product renders
Produced AOVs, mattes and optimised render setups for comp-friendly comping work
Ensured the product read clearly inside stylised League of Legends environments (rift, hex‑tech crystals, particle FX)
